11-15-2018 sabine lake
I was trying to catch the flounder run fishing the Louisiana side .The water was brown from fresh water run off I think . The low temperature was 32 and the high was 57 with clear skies and a high pressure cell . Water visibility was poor , maybe 3 inches . I paddled to Blue Buck Point and beyond it to the first bayou past the point . Water movement was poor and the tide was low . I left early , 3 pm . The locals at the ramp said they haven’t been catching any flounder.

Sure miss fishing Sabine. Haven’t fished over there in a couple of years but been thinking about making a run soon. Thanks for sharing!
