Thursday I fished Sabine Lake for flounder. There was a slow outgoing tide all day , NW wind less than 10 mph , mostly sunny and warming to about 60 degrees. The water was brown with almost no visibility. It may have been fresh water run off . No bites all day and no one I talked to had any luck . But , loading up my kayak a fellow pulled out a flounder right there under the pier . I gathered from talking to a few guys there that the flounder haven’t moved in earnest .

Glad to see ya getting out again doc. Thanks for the report. Sorry ya didn't get on em. Seems to be a different migration for flatties this year. Must be all the high tides we had holding them up some.
