11 Mile Report 5/23

Tried fishing 11mile today with my fiance and buddy Phil. Gorgeous day, small 1-2' surf, minimal wind, tons of bait swimming around, and tons of seaweed. The seaweed made it really annoying, we ended up paddling a bait out about 350 yards almost to the green water line. Had one hit, I think it was a shark because the the entire body of the mullet was bit off.

After the rain we had yesterday does it make the fishing worse?

I'm gonna give it another shot tomorrow but I'm definitely gonna check somewhere else to get away from the seaweed hopefully.

Fishing is always good rain makes it better.

Shoot, that's the complete opposite of Socal, after the rain it shuts down for a few days after. I'm gonna give it a shot somewhere tomorrow then! Thanks guys!
