    Henry, They are larvae and come from moth eggs.If you check your plants daily you can kill them hopefully before they do too much damage.Your right. They can demolish a plant quickly.

              I am sure Mike has several wheelbarrows of vegetables by now. He always has a great garden, but here are some pics from my 5 plants.
              They have grown to 7 ft.
              I am battling the hot weather, and this year I took Mike's advice and bought
              some Liquid Sevin for the stink bugs. I've only had to use it once....Great stuff.

                  Beautiful plants!! I planted my tomatoes in a different spot this year and didn't get as high of a yield. Pretty good though. Canned up a dozen jars this evening. My squash on the other hand went absolutely crazy..

                            Great Garden as always Mike. I wish I had a big yard and could grow all the plants I wanted.
                            Melons, squash,cucumbers,peppers,green beens,onions,peppers,ect.
                            Can't beat home grown.
