Took the yak down and stayed around the Stingaree area. Fish are starting to go back up in the marsh already. I tried a variety of teasers to sweeten the bait, but cut mullet tipped on my gulp seemed to be the ticket. Slow hopped on the bottom seemed to be what these sluggish fish wanted.

Here are a few pics...check out the FWE shoutout...Hogie might notice that box.

Go get you some fellas, they're there for the taking.

Nice fishing! I've never fished Bolivar before. I'm gonna have to take the ferry and check it out!

Use it everytime i slip in the water.

Hey dude, take it easy on the Aggie jokes. I'm very sensitive to stuff like that. Isn't guiding considered a real job? I'm fighting off the urge to go back to school and finish my masters.

That stash of corkies you gave me will last me a lifetime i bet, esp since i don't ever get to fish in the winter. I need to throw those things some...i always go to the worm dragging way too quick.

It's a full time job, but only for 7 months. I need to move out to Cali during the off season and be a porn star until September rolls back around. Talk about living the dream....

                            Try this one time Travis
                            1) top waters
                            2) corkys
                            3) draggin the worm

Moving to Cali may not be a good idea buddy... Or unemployment rate is high enough... LOL
