    Thumbup Wish me luck!

I heading to Matagorda this weekend with the family to try and snag a few fish. Hopefully the wind will die down and my 8 year old daughter can catch a few keepers. I'll probably give her Gulps under a popping cork or maybe freelining live shrimp. Any other suggestions?

If you have a boat, drift the reefs on the western end of east bay, or stay in the ICW and fish out in front of cuts going into the back lakes.

I don't have a boat, but a friend may take us out if it isn't too windy.
The house where we're staying is right on the river so we'll probably be fishing off the dock most of the time. I think they have some lights too.

Just saw a report on 2cool where a guy caught a 30" momma on gulp and a popping cork drifting East....now wouldn't that be something?
