    Default Tomato genetics

Interesting article, even if it does come from New York City.

Anyone have any experience with heirloom seed/tomatos?

I've moved to mostly all Heriloom tomatoes -- they taste far better than the regular old "better boy, better bush etc..." type varieties that you get at the local nursery. The only ones I still grow are a few of the low acid yellow varieties that my wife likes. Great article -- thanks!

I'm tilling out the spring tomato plants this weekend and will be getting ready for a fall planting. I'll check out Wabash to see what they have by way of heirlooms.
