They do make a 7.5" cork grip.

Guess I am old fashioned. I Just don't like the way it feels.

I love fishing for flounder. When I do a hookset I try and rip their face off. This drives the hook threw the
Jaw. With the split grip I can't set the hook as hard as I like.

Don, what does it take to get the extra resin off the 2 split grips. Feels hard as a rock.

Sand it, or scraping, just be careful not to damage the blank

    Don,
Working 6 days a week I haven't done anything except buy the new handle and epoxy online.
Off this weekend, but air conditioner went out, so I went and bought a window unit.
Getting ready to start installing it.
Got lucky there. This is TAX FREE weekend on Energy Star Appliances.( at least at Home Depot)

Sorry to hear about your a/c. Good that it's not too hot, good luck with your install. Back to work. Let me know how it goes.
