Default Convert Skeleton to Full Handle??

Anyone know if you can take a skeleton rod and change the 2 piece cork out to a full length cork handle ?

I'm no rod repair man, but it seems like this could be done.

I bet SYSCO KID would know . I would look at the WINN TOUR series of handles , Dale . Non slip golf club handle type material .

The Winn grips come in 8.5 and longer if I remember correctly. Look online to be sure. If anything you can go with cork.

The Winn Handles look perfect. I went to the Web site and watched the videos.
I played golf a lot when I was younger and replaced grips all the time.

But here is a question they don't address in the videos.
The Skeleton type rods have a build up of resin or what ever they use at each of the cork sections.
It will need to be removed to change to one long grip.
Any suggestions on how to remove this. In my picture it will be the BLUE area.

I'm curious about why you want to convert back to a full grip. I have always used full grip, but I'm going shopping soon. Is the skeleton SO different that you can't get used to it ?

I like the split grips, but I also like a short handle. Of course, that may be because my belly gets in the way..
