Its not much of a report but here you go... Launched the yak about 9pm Friday. At the launch there were literally millions of shad. They were jumping in my kayak as I paddled to the green lights. Too bad I caught more shad than reds and specks. The wind was kicking as the norm the last month. I used TTF double shad rig and a yo-zuri 3d minnow. Total catch for the night 2 rat reds and 1 keeper speck that I released. Not that many fish in the lights and the water was a little fresh. Since I wasnt catching much called it a night at 11:30. Paddled against the wind on the way back. It was a good cardio workout. Hopefully winds die down so I can hit the Causeway. I havent done very good in Pirates of late.
