West bay coves
Have the coves in west bay started beating up since the temperature has gotten cooler? I haven’t been able to be down there as much as I would like but I am planning a trip thanksgiving week.

When they do start heating up, they going to be some beating up for sure.
Should be a good winter in west bay with all the fresh inputs in the others. Could be the best winter in west in a long time. There's been a few early fall catches and those fish should still be in there. You might also try Christmas Bay as I've done real well in Christmas during the late fall.

Hey there
Would you mind elaborating?
Should be a good year because west shouldn’t be as fresh as other bays?

that's correct... Yes it will be a good year in west bay due to the freshwater inputs from Imelda to Upper Galveston and Trinity and to some extent East. When those are fresh it pushes fish into west. Also Chocolate got a bit of a fresh bump from Imelda to and that's another reason why they'll concentrate more in west bay.
