bayou down past the bridge.

anyone have any knowledge of the fishing at the bayou a couple miles past 2004 bridge? Its right after the intersection (cant remember the hwy # but if you take a left it takes you to Freeport). Right after the light to the right theres a small public boat ramp.

Thats Bastrop bayou. I have never fished there.

I stopped there a few months back to check the ramp out. I would think that section of Bastrop would be decent in the winter.

It's a great spot in the winter but mostly croker and gafs in the summer I fish it often just to wet some line
