I had the great day with a young couple from Haskell, Texas today. She started it off in great time by catching a nice trout on the first cast and 3 rd cast as he and watched. We worked the drops from deep water to flats. We got a variety of fish, but couldn't get the trout bite going, so we moved around trying to find it. The wind was too high to go to Corpus Bay so I opted to try Aransas Bay. We made several stops but managed a few trout for our work. We moved back to the area where I had been fishing for 2 weeks and found fish, but the spring bull tides are in today, we did find our redfish in a shallow sand pocket.
