Went to Surfside this mornin didn't get there till 9 (which sucked ) but the surf was fairly decent water was a lil off color. Waded out threw so topwaters,crankbaits and some soft plastics with no success . So I went to the trusty ol shrimp and popping cork and what do u know not 30 seconds after it hit the water boom straight under . I ended up with 8 dinks in about 15 minutes largest bein 13" then the bite completely shut down(sure could have went for some specs on the grill) . So I went to fishing the bottom and ended up with 1 17" red and way too many giant whitings ! I may not have loaded the cooler but wat a BAD *** DAY !
