  • 6/7 morning report - lots of action

Jumped into the surf around 5:45 am, the waves were a little bigger then I like, but what the heck, green water!

Started with tops, nothing. Switched to tails, a friend walked in and bam first trout around 17". He was using popping cork and shrimp, he starting catching several. I was still nailed them with tails and things slowed for awhile. The sun never got from behind the clouds, but the bit was still there. Notice another friend (Gene) nailing them about 100 yards from me, so once popping cork left I walked his way. He has an impressive stringer and ended up with a limit. We both had a limit, off the water by 8:30.

Fun morning, better then sitting in traffic!

Way to go Mike. Some fatty trout too.
I couldn't buy a blowup this morning but Capt. Glen had the mojo and the pink skitterwalk working. He had 3-4 when I left!
