  • Hull cleaning ?

Lordy my Hull needs a good cleaning and possible some gel repair.. I'm a old fart and a lazy one too, so does any of our sponsors here do that type of work?

    or

What type of hull cleaners works best if I get a itch to do so my self ?

    Thanks in advance,
    wd

If you have a yellow stain on the hull, use "The Works" from the Dollar store or get some FSR from Academy. Make sure to rinse trailer real good when done.

I use "The Works" from the Dollar Store. It works great and it's cheap. But if you do not wax your boat afterwards the yellowish stain will return after your 1st or 2nd trip. You must wax it after using.

they used to sell this stuff at academy literally called "HULL CLEANER". its an acid. you wipe it on with a sponge, wait 2 minutes, then spray off. works like magic. no scrubbing necessary. you can supposedly spray it on but I never tried that

Hull Cleaner and The Works are ther same stuff. Hull Cleaner is about $12 bucks at Wal-Mart and I think $18 at West Marine. The Works is $1.50 at the Dollar Store.

x1000 on "the works"...just apply and the yellow vanishes almost immediately...I like to rub it in and around some with a soft brush to get the full affect.....My water line can be removed from my entire in less than 5 minutes and no backaches in sight

Make sure you spray it off really good stuff cant be good for anything if left on for a long period of time
