Chocolate Bay Channel - Buoy 18

Buoy 18 has made it way clear across the other side of the channel. It is not that big of a deal if your heading into Chocolate Bay. For those heading out, the misplaced buoy can play tricks on you eyes as you make the curve around Horse Grove Point. The current location of the buoy makes you want to take a tighter turn than you are supposed to.

Please take note of it before you guys head out (especially if you are running in the dark - jocues!)

Yeah I seen it last week me and superspook it was in place on the way out and torn loose on way in that channel is not marked good at all anymore since they dredged it!!

I have had that happen to Me in Chocolate before. Not good seeing a liar bird standing where you are going @ 40 mph. The Bayhawk would get pretty skinny, but not 3". My Dad was with Me and He did not believe the bouy had moved until We came back in and there was a tug stuck there. I'm glad it was a sandy bottom.
