Surf Report - 5/30/09

Started at slp at dawn with live bait. Zero tide movement and green to the 1st bar. Lots of sharks but no trout.

Moved NE 3-4 miles to find better current, water green to 1st bar. more sharks and a few small trout caught nearby. Very slow.

Moved to the seawall with Clear/sandy water and green 100 yard out and streaking. The trout were in the sandy water. Clarity is great everywhere. Rock groins are holding nice fish as well as the beach front. Silver spoon nailed a few today but most fell to the evil croaker.

Strung 7 between the 2 of us. 16"-24"

We were at JB from 5:45 to 8:30 and had maybe 8 blow ups between us. Caught 1 Gafftop and 1 Skipjack. We thought it should have been on, but couldn't get anything to hit.
