The surf was on this morning!!!

I hit the surf this morning with low expectations... didnt even bring a cooler... boy was i wrong.

Tons of trout and smack under rafts of mullet. It was a hook up almost every cast for about 2 hours. The bite seemed to end about 10.

Started with tops with no takers. moved to the gold flake fat boy and that was it. the guys around me throwing shrimp didnt do very well and i think they were all frustrated that i caught so many fish.

Ended up with 20+ trout to 21" and a nice smack (lost a few too). i have to retire the corky as it is shredded.

mullet was getting blown up all mornign and birds were working hard!!!

Nice report. It amazes me how one day it is on and the next it is not. Saturday sucked and Sunday was great.
