  • Three days of flyfishing

I got to fish the last three days with conditions from being perfect to not so good.Saturday started off the adventure with redfish podding/mudding later as the tide fell. The bite was later in the day.Sunday I waited for the tides to drop before I started caseing reds.I had several to the boat when I meet up with Capt.Steve Soule to compare notes. He gave me one of his redfish magic flies to fish ,so I did just that.I tied it on and finished the rest of the day with four more reds two of which were 26 & 27.5 inches.Monday turned out not to be a flyfishing day because of high winds and heavy cloud cover.I switched over to the baitcaster with a redfish spinnerbait and had a very good day.Mark Sloan and I piced up 17 reds & 4 trout.Three great days of fishing and no complaints.

Sounds like fun! I can't remember the last time I fished for 3 days.
