10/21/09 am wade

Met with my buddy keith at his spot this am at 5:30am. Had about 25 blow-ups in about 2 1/2 hours and we each landed 1 trout at 16" and I had 1 red before I had to head out to get to work.
He stayed until noon and the bite turned on about 30 minutes after I left. He ended up with 4 keeper trout to 22", 2 flounder to 21 1/2" and 1 keeper red along with many undersize reds. All his were caught on devil eyes in several colors. Mine were on Chart/Black Spook Jr.
I wish I could have stayed until the bite turned on, but had to make some money to support my fishing habit!
