I haven't been doing so good fishing around SLP and Cold Pass by my house lately so, I decided to go to a platform out of SLP about 15 miles out or so. I didn't know what to expect to catch, but I was hoping for maybe something different like bluefish, maybe a stray snapper or angelfish or trigger fish. Something different just for the sake of change.
What I found was a endless supply of sand trout. Is that common for them to be out in 60 feet of water 15 miles offshore?
