Hit up Chocolate in the morning around 7:00.. by 7:30 we were in the middle of the bay and there were birds everywhere diving by each channel marker it seemed 10-15ft deep.. we caught some dinks on topwater and decided to switch it up.. hit up a reef next to where the birds were diving and starting pulling in some nice keepers. 3 from 17-18 inches and buddy pulled in one. Off the water by 1pm. Winds were light and the tide was ripping out. The water looked calm and really nice.. galveston bay the water was green, middle of chocolate was tan, and by the ramp was turd brown.
