    crankin the bayou..3/13/10

    Went back to chocolate saturday, armed with a multitude of crankbaits.
    i was trying to duplicate what i did last trip there.
    Well long story short...it didnt happen. The tide was sooooo low. ran miles up the bayou... and nothing. Ran down to the bay and made a drift on a spoil bank and pickup 3 lil trout, then the wind really started to blow, so i went home..

      Were/are you running a 17 or 18 whaler? Saw two guys drifting spoil and looked like they had some action. I got nada.
