Wed. Evening 6-9

Went out to a few spots around Galveston Bay Wed. evening and put a few in the boat.!! We fished from 3 till near dark...
Ended the evening with 4 nice keepers & lost several others...
I attached a pic..
All caught in 2-3' of water with shrimp under popping corks..
The bite was really good when we started. Had a huge trout litteraly
knock my cork out of the water, huge spalsh then broke off....DANG...

My step son Adrian went along and had a blast. Really improving with his casting distance.. Got him a new spinning reel & he seems to be catching on.
I start back to work on Monday after a long & much needed 1 1/2 months off....Fished as much as I could!!! Got spoiled on going durring the week with no crowds...oh well..back to the grind/traffic...

Yep..it was a much needed break for me..
I was laid off 1 1/2 months ago. I do Preto-Chem Engineering work.
I made sure I had plenty of " Fishing money" put aside so that's what I did, nearly every day..!! Said the Hell with it & fished hard..!!!
Also made some nice upgrades to my boat.

Topped it all off with the Guided trip with Craig Lambert..(Capt. Mullet).!!
Back at it Monday..work that is.. Back to S&B Engineering.
I have off every Friday so I will be hitting it on the Bays then.
Hope to meet more of you guys someday..!!!
Yes, I will be keeping my step-son fishing. He LOVES it and is such
a huge help to me when we are out on the boat. He can now back the boat off the trailer & can also load the boat too..!!!

I will be keeping posted from my desk now..!!!..LOL..
