  • 8/22 report - lots of reds only 2 keepers

Donna and I made a run to Chocolate yesterday morning and took the advise of my neighor to fish just off the ICW and it was a good move. I am estimating, but I think we caught around 35 reds all between 18-19 inches. We did manage 3 keeper and 2 solid trout and one flounder. Although we only had 3 keepers, it was fun to get that much action in one day.

Used live shrimp under popping cork. Flounder came on free lining a shrimp.

LOL Jeremy. It is amazing that I go out there at 5:45 on Friday and got one blow up. It did not help that the wind was howling SW all morning!

There is a pattern to it. If I could only learn the pattern on some fish closer to the house I would be better off.

Glad you guys got into some, it doesn't matter so much what you are catching as long as you are catching.
don't lose the big one, change your line.
