Highlands Bayou

Fished Highlands Bayou and some adjacent marsh with my brother and flynut from 5:30a to 1p in our kayaks. Threw tops in the morning with two trout between my brother and me to show for it, plenty of blow-ups...... Caught some dink trout, rat reds, and one small flounder on plastics, all colors, the rest of the morning. Weather was great but the water is off color, especially in the marsh areas. Plenty of rat reds......... Caught one rat red that was not red at all and had a blueish tail.
