Fly Fishing Report 10/18

Fly fishing was pretty good yesterday .It started out with a heavy cloud deck so I went after some tailers in the marsh coves.That went well as I waited for some sunshine which fineally came around 10 am.Left the marsh and headed for the flats and clear water sight casting.That fishing lasted up to 1:30 pm when the cloud cover got thick again.Ende the day with 8 fish.One of the reds went 27 and one of the trout was 21 in.Lots of tailers and pods during the day .All fish were caught on red & white seaducer.Did not see any of the big trout that I had seen in previous trips to the flats most were in the low toi mid 20's.It was a great day to be on the water.

Joe, That sounds like a great day. The trout will return... I would be scared too with all the boat traffic the last few weeks.
