Tiki Island lights?

I haven't seen anything but bait so far this year.

My bro and I went out Friday night out of tiki. There are fish there but nothing big. We caught reds, trout, and a flounder. Caught 1 keeper speck but released him. Seemed like we caught most fish in the outside lights not much in the canals. Could see small Shad in the lights with some glass minnows. Once the Shad get bigger the bigger fish will follow. We fished the jones lake side to stay out of the wind. Used tandem ttf rigs with a glow gulp shrimp on the bottom jig. Most fish were caught on the gulp. I will tyr again in a couple of weeks.
