  • Haynie RT 19

Does anyone around Houston have a Haynie 19 RT that I can come see? We dont even have to put it in the water but that woukd be a plus. It seems I dont have the time to drive to Chris Marine when they have one.

I don't have one or know anyone with one, but that boat doesn't have any freeboard in the stern. That would be a problem for me.

Good point.. i wonder how it woukd ride with a small lean post instead of a cooler seat and putting a cooler on the bow as a casting playform.

What size engine is that? A cooler seat and putting a cooler on the bow would have no effect at all. Even with a self bailing deck, it seems like that would swamp pretty easily. If it doesn't, then your stuff will always be wet, and you'll lose things, like wade belt or anything not tied on running too . Wet doesn't make much difference in the summer but it sure does in the winter.

Nice boat but I'm with Kenny the lack of freeboard would be a concern to me.
