I'll double check all my stuff, but I should be good on the regulations (I actually wear a type 1 life jacket with a whistle and a light on it while running)

Sounds like I won't concentrate much on the red snapper and will just run out and try to find some kings/cobia/aj/scamp/non red snapper.

I'm probably going to look for some rigs in the 20-40 mile range that I can hit. Knowing nothing else I'd probably try to sabiki around the rigs on the way out for bait. Any other suggestions on this idea?

Once again if anyone is planning on running SLP on the 24th, I'd love to have some "educate me".
