A hint of Fall is in the air. The water temperature has dropped over 10 degrees since my last trip two weeks ago. The temp this morning was 76.4 degrees. Upon arriving at my first spot, I was greeted with very light winds and the presence of surface mullet. The top water bite never materialized despite stringing two trout to 19.5" in the first 15 minutes. The bite soon died; on to the next one. The next stop produced two flounder to 16", a 19" trout and a 26" red (released) on 4" Sea Shad.
