I woke up today thinking it was going to be a really nice day on the water. I walked in around sea wolf. I started out throwing a chart./orange shrimp tail on the first walk. On the walk back to the walk in location I switched to a plum/chart. paddle tail. Working it along the channel edge very slowly. Didn't get a bite on either walk, so I switched to a trout tandom glow/pink skirt and tipped it with some old chart. gulp and walked it one more time. I walked from the middle of the rip rap on the road leading to sea wolf down to the pilot boat bulk head and back 3 times throwing multiple baits and didn't get a nibble. There were a few other waders out there and it looked like they had a small flounder a piece before I made it out there. There were also a few others fishing for trout with live bait under a popping cork but all I saw them catch were sand trout.
I'm going to try it again tomorrow very early to try to fish the outgoing tide before it starts raining.
