Guys,
Hit the water at FatBoy's this morning with a friend from my church. Got a quart of live shrimp and headed for the railroad bridge. Seventh opening from the island side on the north side of the bridge (Orange paint on Bridge and poles in the water. Free shrimped and killed them. All fish in cooler by 10:30am. We had three reds 24",26", and 27", one flounder 23", and six trout, biggest was 24". Did release many undersized.
Water was sandy green and the temp was 76 degrees.
Anybody fishing the U of H Tourney may want to start at the Railroad Bridge early.
F.Y.I. Fatboys was full with no parking by 7 am this morning. Never seen it like this on a Friday.
