The flounder are slowly migrating back through the Galveston Ship Channel. I've been catching them on H&H curly tails in red and white with 1/4 oz jigheads. Best bite has been during the tide change from slack low to incoming. Today that occurred later than predicted, around 5 PM, due to the stiff north wind earlier in the day. Most of the flounder were caught tight along bottom structure in 4-6 feet of water closest to the main channel. Haven't had much success in the back corners of barge and ship slips.
Action should continue to pick up through March and April.
