Haven't been out in over a month so it was great to get back in the water. Pat and I hit it around 11 and it was a still cool and more windy than expected! First stopped produced a nice 25 1/2" Spec for Pat on a Cajun Pepper Big Eye
Moved to another spot and we each had nice Flounders on the Cajun Pepper, Pat also picked up a couple of small reds and a keeper sized Spec. Then we had a couple hours of NADA!
Finally, I got a hot hand on some Reds and got 2 on back-to-back casts.
And a few minutes later I picked up another Red and then the bite stopped as quick as it started. All fish were released to fight another day.
It was great to get out even though the bite was slow. Now I need to start changing gears as I am heading to Ray Scott's Private Lake in Alabama to do some Bass fishing next week. This will be our 3 year going and I am looking forward to another great trip!
