Kinda slow start but picked up on the incoming. My bro and cousin did well and I had the yips today seems like every fish I hooked came unbuttoned. Shortest fish on left was 15.5 What a great day to be on the water though.

My buddy in the neighborhood that cleans and maintains my reels for me has been whacking them on the bolivar peninsula. Said he has over 40 pounds of fillets put up and doesn't keep nothing less than 20". He invited me and told me where they're at but I'm having a mental block about wading with all this stingray talk.

Yes. Cross the ferry and I think second road to the left after getting off ferry. Drive down to broken down bridge over cove. Walk down waters edge towards bay 100 yards. Two reefs perpendicular to shoreline, walk in knee deep and fish gut between reefs. Every other cast ratio.

He gave me the OK. He gave up on it after it looked like sportsman on a Saturday. Said a few with rods and reels saw him catch and three days later the zoo had moved north.

That's a good spot as is right north of the ferry landing where the sunken barges are. If you can get in the hole where the barge farthest north and east butts up to the shore, they lay in there like cord wood.
