I am prob heading down to Clear Lake/Kemah area this weekend. I have never fished that area before. Does anyone have any tips on where to fish out there?

Are there any good places besides the pier off of NASA Rd.1 to fish Clear Lake? I don't have a boat and figure the pier gets crowded. I was going to go down there this morning but decided I had to much work to go at home. I know, wrong choice!

The pier is the only place to fish on foot that I know of....but , that can be a producer . There are two piers at the boat launch near the bridge . I'm not sure how good the fishing is there , but , they face the deep channel and would seem to me to be worth a shot also . Good luck !!
