Afternoon of 12/29

Got down to the island around 2:00ish. After unloading all the crap I manage to bring I got down to Sea Isle Marina around 3:30. Had my wife Lara with me and picked up a pint of live shrimp. Hit my first spot around 4 and tides was real high but no longer moving too hard. Nothing doing. Moved around a bit and by 5 I had a keeper red. Lara caught a couple sheep head which she enjoyed. I switched to one of Big Nasty's Voodoo Shad in plum and started working drop offs where the flats would drop to five to six feet. I proceeded to catch four specs, another keeper red, and a flounder. Two of the four trout went 17" and went in my box. The flattie was undersized and released.

Came home and had the reds for dinner with a Caesar salad. Not too bad!

Going out again today and will post results.
