Jumped out of the boat on a long grassy sandy bottomed shoreline about 6:50am. A little bit of bait and a few slicks trying to show. Was looking for trout, ended up catching 7 reds all in the slot. Best was 26.5(n the pic).
Wind was s/sw, maybe 10 when I got there and probably 15-20 by the time I left. Water was getting sandy but still fishable. Caught the biggest red about thigh deep, all the rest were between 1-2 ft deep.
All hit the chrome/green back she dog...they were hammering it. Only one blow up that missed it all morning...worked the top really fast/eractic then pause, they almost all nailed it on the pause.
Back in the office by 11am...on my way back to walk in at a different spot now...I love this country!
