never made it out on the boat because of the wind but still went out to the "spot".arrived at 515am and had to wait for the gate to open fo employees to get to work. started fishing around 540 and it was a great morning. first cas was a 24in red, second was a 22in speck. continued to fish with artificials (ttf hacckberry hustlers purple with chart tail and pumpkinseed with chart tail) until about 830. the bite just stopped then. but by that time already had 7 trout from 16-22in the one red, and 2 sandies about 15in. then cught some live bait with the cast net and put out two lines off the bottom, sat back and popped open couple cold ones and enjoyed the sun. nothing on the deep lines, so headed to the dike. fished off off skyline near mosquito island an caught 2 more reds just over 20in and a fat sheepie all on live shrimp. the shrimp were so big they had to be cut in half. the head half was what the bigger fish seemed to like. fished till around 430-5pm the showered at local park and off to twin peaks for some food and eye candy.
