I Actually Fished This Afternoon

I went out for a few hours this afternoon. I checked the North shoreline but it was waaaaay off color. I did see one boat over there up in the pocket drifting the shoreline.
Came back across and waded the same spot I've been hitting this month. There were a few fish around. Lots of almost, and barely legal reds. I had one good 4.5# trout grab a chicken on a chain bass assassin.
If I was more highly motivated, I would have fished till dark! The tide was just starting to move out about 7:00 when I came in. Water in the cove was 76 degrees and Ok but a lot of the bay is trashed.

Nice work. I wonder why the N. shore was off color, you'd think it would be protected from the N. wind we've been having. Maybe it was when it switched to NE?

Nice job Kenny. Dpop, Knighten, and myself hit it yesterday morning and most of the bay was trashed. Found a little fishable water in Christmas and Bastrop. Dpop had a few Trout to 4lbs and 1 or 2 Reds.

Most of the north shoreline was probably trashed from 2 weeks of south winds over 20 mph...
