West Bay fishing report 5/6

Well GHS and I made it a three day weekend and started early Fri. morning. We made the infamous run to Offats and fished the bridge and sailboat.....Good choice...caught a few trout to eat...let go 2 fish that went 4 1/2 pounds...fished mid-west bay in the afternoon....only 2 trout to show.....until one was stolen by the blacktip...(see shark encounter westend forum post)...fish were caught in the shade of sailboats in Offats on Gulp Hermit Crab under a popping cork...(ran outta dye for the live shrimp)....Fishing is getting good! Tight lines guys...Next days report for 5/7 in East bay forum

Just to be on the safe side for the tourney this weekend. Does your boat have any distinguishing features you could share with the less informed audience? Im not using my boat cause I dont wana give away my super secret hawg hawlin spot to the potlickers

I have a yellow looking andros tarpon 26 footer I run the flats with.

Those Trout look like they came off of one of my reefs!!!!!!! LOL

One did have A P on the side....offats was a long run for the little guy in that case to be off one of your reefs! If anybody catches one of mine its stomach will be loaded with the cut piggy perch it stole off my hook.
