11/29/11 report

Met up with Capt. George Knighten this morning at Fat Boys and went poking around West Bay looking at some of our winter time areas. This last front and tide drop should have been the front to move them in there winter pattern. Sure enough they were right where there suppose to be. Caught fish on a mix of Corkys and plum Assassins. Through topwaters early but only had 2 or 3 light blowups. This afternoon I bet they will be spanking the surface plugs. Ended up with 20 Trout and let another 10 or 15 go and left them biting. Fish were caught in 2 to 6' of water over mud/shell.

You guys see the beachfront at low tide this weekend? The waterline was at the second gut and there was a separate river in the first gut that ran the length of the beach.
