Slow Sunday Afternoon Drift

We ran up to the reef this afternoon for a few hours. Tide was coming in hard but the water was very clear and the fish were scattered and not aggressive at all.. We caught 8 trout and kept six 3#-4.5#. The fish were all caught on Catch Jr.'s

Nice job Kenny, so I take it they were all at the top of the water column??

Nope, right on the shell. You had to get the lure down and let it hover right above the shell, then light twitch, twitch.......tap, hook-up.
It wouldn't have worked if the tide hadn't been running the way it was. We would have been been losing and retrieving some lures.
