Finally got back down to the island today. Filled up the boat at Sea Isle. Had Lara with me so I grabbed some shrimp...and was fishing by 1:30.
Caught a 18" spec pretty quick and stayed busy for an hour...caught several trout with five being between 17-19"...bunch of little flounder back there as well but found two that kept. Lara boated a nice trout around 17" so i was pretty excited for her. She also had some black drum give her a good tug, peeling some drag...fun to watch. Could tell Lara was cold so headed in and was back at Sea Isle Marina by 4:00ish. Tide was moving out all afternoon, water was clear, and oh yeah, there wasn't a whole lot of it!
