Wind, wind, and more wind.
I went to the same area that I fished yesterday and the wind was howling so I tried fishing fishing the opening and got blown out. So I found a protected shore line and fished it for about an hour and picked up one solid trout that I cpr'd to fight another day and a few small flounder that never let me get them out of the water. If the wind lays down in the morning I will be back out again to see if I can't catch the start of the outgoing tide this time.
You will notice the bait in the trouts throat is a wedge tail.
