Well I got off at 11 this morning so I hit one of my favorite flounder holes when they are in the marsh. Got on the water at 12 and had my double limit of flounder by 230 of course I didn't keep two limits I just caught that many legal sized fish with a few smaller ones mixed in.
I then switched over to trout fishing when the tide shifted and caught a couple keepers that I released. I missed the slam by a red but I'm sure if I was tossing live bait I would have laid into them also.
Bait of choice today was a morning glory 2 inch tsunami. I had a 3 inch curly tail in salt and pepper and it was not touched. The fish are feeding heavily in small bait right now.
One of flounder in my donut puked up a baby croaker the size of my pinky finger.
