Hit the north shoreline west of greens cut Saturday morning. Water was like chocolate milk, but the reds were chasing shrimp up skinny in pods of 10 to 20 fish. The fish were all in the slot and tailing under gulls. It was over by 7:30, but we stuck several before moving back to the south shoreline.
We found decent numbers of trout with some reds mixed in near Sea Isle. The bite was very early and it died off around 8 am on Sunday and Monday. Other than one good trout, I could not buy a blow up on top waters. Most fish were caught on mirrodines with a very slow retrieve.
