Friday Evening & Saturday Morning

Shortystillsurfs, MadMike and his children along with another friend fished the Plumber's Local 68 Tournament Friday evening/night and Saturday. It was alot of work with very little sleep. We ended up cathing quite a few fish.

The highlight of the event was seeing Mike's oldest and Phil's son catch fish while wading.

It was a memorable trip for sure it was my daughters first wade other than the surf. I didnt get in the water i had my 6 yr old in the boat had to help him cast. And hold on too the rod tip when a big red hit so he would not let one of them reds take my pole. His set up couldnt handle them fish. It was funny all he wanted to do was reel and not stop, i netted one red and he had it reeled up to the eye. Shorty said he could hear me in the distance yelling to my daughter dont let go of the pole every time she had on a red.
